- 1 pound salmon fillets (skin removed)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
- Cut the salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- For stovetop: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and cook salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- For oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C), line a baking sheet with parchment, and bake salmon bites for 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
- For air fryer: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and cook bites for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth to make the bang bang sauce.
- Coat the cooked salmon bites in the bang bang sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
For additional crunch, consider rolling salmon cubes in panko breadcrumbs before cooking. Serve with lime wedges and sesame seeds for garnish.
