Description

Crispy fried chicken tenderloins coated in a sweet and spicy Bang Bang sauce, creating the perfect balance of heat and sweetness in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Canola oil for frying
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey for Bang Bang sauce. Set aside.
  2. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  3. Combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in shallow dish.
  4. In separate bowl, beat egg with 1 tablespoon Sriracha.
  5. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, dip in egg wash, then coat with panko.
  6. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Toss fried chicken in Bang Bang sauce. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd pan when frying for crispier chicken
  • Adjust Sriracha amount to control spice level
  • Serve with extra sauce for dipping
  • For healthier version, bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes
