Description
A comforting, creamy casserole that blends smooth cream cheese with savory ground beef and al dente spaghetti in a rich tomato sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a boil, add the spaghetti, and cook until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5 to 7 minutes, drain excess fat, and stir in the spaghetti sauce. Let it simmer until heated through.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained spaghetti, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt, stirring until well-coated.
- Spread some of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, layer the cream cheese-coated spaghetti, and top it with the remaining meat sauce.
- Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
