- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup minced green onions
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil or butter for greasing the baking sheet
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until silky smooth.
- Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful to keep the chunks intact.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
- Place the crab bombs on a greased baking sheet, ensuring they aren’t touching. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
These can be made ahead and stored in the freezer. Bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
