Description

Irresistibly cheesy bites packed with lump crab meat and cream cheese, wrapped in a crunchy breadcrumb layer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup minced green onions
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil or butter for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until silky smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful to keep the chunks intact.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Place the crab bombs on a greased baking sheet, ensuring they aren’t touching. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
