Description

A flavorful twist on a family favorite, featuring seasoned salmon with a creamy avocado lime sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly on top.
  4. Rub the seasoning into the fillets for even coating.
  5. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. While the salmon is baking, mash the avocado and stir in lime juice and Greek yogurt; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Once baked, top the salmon with the avocado lime sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crustiness, broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
