- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 wheel of brie cheese
- 2–3 plums, sliced
- 1–2 tablespoons honey
- Fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
- Place the sliced brie in the center of the pastry.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced plums with honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the plum mixture over the brie.
- Fold the pastry over the cheese and plums, sealing it well.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer experience, consider adding prosciutto beneath the brie. Leftovers last 2-3 days in the fridge.
