Ingredients
- Fresh or Tinned Apricots
- Almonds (sliced or chopped)
- Cream Cheese (softened)
- Fillo Pastry
- Sugar (optional)
- Butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and slice fresh apricots in half, removing the pit, or drain tinned apricots.
- Combine cream cheese, chopped almonds, and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Lay a sheet of fillo pastry on a clean surface and brush lightly with melted butter.
- Layer another sheet on top and spread a portion of the cream cheese mixture along one edge.
- Top with apricot slices and roll the fillo pastry to form a log or triangle shape.
- Brush each layer with butter and place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.

Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar and pair with light dessert wine or green tea.
