Description

A delightful twist on cauliflower with a sticky honey garlic glaze, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare cauliflower by tossing florets with olive oil on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway until golden-brown and tender.
  4. Make the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Combine the roasted cauliflower with the sauce and toss to coat. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra caramelization, broil the cauliflower for the last 2-3 minutes. You can prep ingredients ahead of time.
