- 1 (13.8-ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
- 9 teaspoons pizza sauce
- 1 (1.75-ounce) package pepperoni
- 4.5 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
- Avocado oil cooking spray
Instructions
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 9 circles.
- Place 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce, 3 slices of pepperoni, and 1/2 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese on each dough disc.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and crimp the edges with a fork.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray with avocado oil.
- Place calzones in the basket and mist the tops with avocado oil.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flip, spray again, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Repeat with remaining calzones.
Notes
Ensure the dough sits at room temperature for 30 minutes for better elasticity. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
