- 2 filet mignon steaks (1.5 to 2 inches thick)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin recommended)
- Salt to taste (kosher salt preferred)
- Black pepper to taste (freshly cracked suggested)
- Garlic powder to taste
- Fresh rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Brush the filet mignon steaks with olive oil on both sides, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- If using, sprinkle fresh rosemary over the steaks.
- Place the seasoned steaks in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Remove steaks from the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking for even cooking. Serve with a pat of herb-infused butter for extra flavor.
