Description
30-Minute Garlic Rosemary Chicken is a quick, flavorful, and aromatic dish featuring tender chicken breasts pan-seared with fresh garlic, rosemary, and a hint of lemon. Perfect for a busy weeknight, this recipe delivers restaurant-quality results in just half an hour.
Ingredients
– 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (about 6 oz each)
– 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
– 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
– 2 Tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, Chopped
– 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
– 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
– 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
– 1 Tablespoon Butter
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and rosemary to the skillet; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cook for another 2 minutes to warm through.
- Stir in lemon zest and optional butter for extra richness.
- Serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.
Notes
- For even cooking, pound chicken breasts to an even thickness before seasoning.
- Use dry white wine in place of chicken broth for a more complex flavor.
- Garnish with additional fresh rosemary and lemon slices for presentation.
- Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
