Description

A delicious fusion of classic smashburger flavors and cheesy quesadillas, featuring seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and optional burger toppings, all wrapped in a crispy flour tortilla for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 ratio recommended)
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Press a small handful of ground beef directly onto one half of each tortilla. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the tortilla beef-side down on the hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the beef is browned.
  4. Flip the tortilla and sprinkle cheese over the cooked beef. Fold the tortilla in half.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula, until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  6. Slice into wedges and serve with optional toppings or dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly butter the outside of the tortilla before cooking.
