Ingredients
For the Meatballs:,1 lb ground beef,1/2 cup breadcrumbs,1/4 cup onion, finely chopped,1 egg,2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce,1 tsp garlic powder,1 tsp onion powder,Salt and pepper to taste,2 tbsp olive oil,1/2 cup beef broth,For the Mashed Potatoes:,2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed,2 tbsp butter,2 cloves garlic, minced,1/4 cup heavy cream,1/4 cup sour cream,Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently and form into 1.5-inch meatballs.,Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.,Add beef broth to skillet, scraping up browned bits. Return meatballs to skillet, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until cooked through.,Meanwhile, boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.,Mash potatoes with butter, garlic, heavy cream, and sour cream until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.,Serve meatballs over mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh herbs.
