    • Salt & pepper, to taste
    • 1 tbsp oil (olive or avocado oil)
    • 3 tbsp honey
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
    • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional for thickening)


Instructions

  1. Prep chicken: Pat thighs dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken: Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken skin-side down 6-7 mins until golden and crispy. Flip and cook 5 mins. Remove from pan.
  3. Make sauce: Drain excess fat, leaving 1 tbsp. Sauté garlic 30 seconds until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and pepper flakes. Simmer 2 mins until slightly thickened.
  4. Glaze chicken: Return chicken to pan skin-side up. Spoon sauce over thighs. Cook 5-7 mins, basting frequently, until internal temperature reaches 175°F (79°C).
  5. Finish: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with sauce from pan.
