Description

Ingredients

– 6 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
– 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
– 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
– 1 cup Granulated Sugar
– 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
– 1/2 teaspoon Salt
– 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
– 1 cup Butterscotch Chips


Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine peanut butter, corn syrup, and sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla extract and chocolate chips until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Immediately add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan using a greased spatula or wax paper.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts if desired.
  7. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.
