Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well-coated. Spread on a baking sheet cut-side down.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, stir, and then bake for another 10 minutes until browned and tender.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  5. Drizzle the glaze over the roasted sprouts and toss gently. Roast for an additional 5 minutes until the glaze caramelizes.
