A homemade take on Olive Garden’s classic, these Jumbo Stuffed Shells are filled with creamy ricotta and gooey mozzarella, smothered in marinara sauce, making for a comforting and satisfying meal.

- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, about 9-11 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Fill each shell with the cheese mixture.
- Place the stuffed shells in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
For best results, let your ricotta and egg warm to room temperature before mixing.
