Description

Delightfully spooky marshmallow treats shaped like brains, perfect for Halloween fun with kids.


Ingredients

  • 85 g unsalted butter
  • 6 cups regular marshmallows
  • 4 cups Rice Bubbles (Krispies)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Red food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring ½ cup of water to a gentle boil. Place a large heatproof bowl over the pot.
  2. Add the unsalted butter and marshmallows to the bowl. Whisk for 2-4 minutes until it forms a smooth paste.
  3. Remove the bowl from the pot. Add salt and red food coloring, whisking until combined.
  4. In a large bowl, add Rice Bubbles and pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Lightly oil your hands and shape the mixture into ovals for brain shapes. Create a dent and draw veins with a toothpick.
  6. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Notes
