Homemade Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

  • Author: Ranime
  • Total Time: 12 hrs 10 mins
  • Yield: 2 servings

Description

A layered iced coffee drink featuring smooth cold brew topped with velvety pumpkin spice cold foam. This homemade version lets you control the sweetness and spice level while capturing all the autumnal flavors of the coffee shop favorite.

Ingredients

¼ cup whole milk

¼ cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon pumpkin puree

¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 cup cold brew

Instructions

  1. Make cold brew: Steep coffee grounds in water for 12-24 hours. Strain through cheesecloth.
  2. Make pumpkin cream: Combine all cream ingredients in a bowl. Whip with hand mixer or frother until thick but pourable (like melted ice cream).
  3. Assemble: Fill glass with ice. Add cold brew until 3/4 full. Add syrup if using.
  4. Slowly pour pumpkin cream over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.
  5. Lightly stir before drinking to incorporate layers.

Notes

  • For dairy-free: Use coconut cream and oat milk
  • Make ahead: Cold brew keeps 2 weeks refrigerated
  • Frothing tip: Use a French press to foam the cream mixture
  • Spice adjustment: Add more pumpkin pie spice to taste
