Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter (plus extra for cooking)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1015 drops green gel food coloring
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Red heart sprinkles or candy (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl and whisk until blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the green gel food coloring until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat with a small amount of butter.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Flip pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with whipped cream and red heart sprinkles.

Notes
