A creamy, comforting slow cooker meal featuring tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and elbow macaroni in a rich three-cheese sauce – the ultimate hands-off family dinner!
Ingredients
1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
5 cups Fresh broccoli florets
8 ounces Shell pasta or elbow macaroni
8 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 ounces Cream cheese
1.5 cups Whole milk
0.5 cup Chicken broth
1 packet Ranch seasoning
1 tablespoon Minced garlic
1 teaspoon Dry mustard powder
Instructions
- Grease 6-quart slow cooker. Add chicken, broccoli, and uncooked pasta.
- In large bowl, whisk milk, soup, sour cream, and all seasonings until smooth.
- Pour sauce over ingredients in slow cooker. Stir gently to combine.
- Top with all cheeses (don’t stir). Cover and cook on LOW 2.5-3 hours.
- Stir well before serving (sauce will thicken as it stands).
Notes
- For extra creaminess, stir in 1/4 cup cream cheese during last 30 minutes
- Can use frozen broccoli – no need to thaw
- If using gluten-free pasta, check at 2 hours to prevent overcooking
- Leftovers thicken when refrigerated – reheat with splash of milk
