Description
Crispy, golden Brussels sprouts coated in Parmesan cheese and seasonings, cooked to perfection in the air fryer. A quick, healthy, and addictive side dish or snack!
Ingredients
- 2 lb Brussels sprouts (fresh, not frozen—look for firm ones without blemishes)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin for an enhanced flavor)
- 1 tsp garlic, parsley, salt (or garlic powder with a pinch of salt)
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (freshly grated is best; avoid the powdered kind for better melt)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil until evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
- Place Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, ensure Brussels sprouts are dry before coating.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve with a side of ranch or aioli for dipping.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes to regain crispiness.
