Description
Creamy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs are tender and flavorful, enveloped in a rich garlic and Parmesan sauce, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Chicken Thighs: Bone-in skin-on for the best flavor and juiciness.
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil: Use extra virgin for richer flavor.
- 1 cup Heavy Cream: Hefty and luscious for that creamy sauce—don’t skimp!
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese: Freshly grated is best; the bagged stuff doesn’t melt as nicely.
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced: Aromatic powerhouses that uplift the whole dish.
- Salt and pepper to taste: Essential for flavor enhancement.
- Fresh parsley for garnish: A pop of color and freshness.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and add the minced garlic to the pan. Cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top. Stir gently until combined.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream, but the sauce may not be as rich. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
