Description
A delicious twist on classic deviled eggs featuring crispy bacon, fresh tomato, and lettuce – all the flavors of a BLT sandwich in bite-sized form.

- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 small tomato, diced
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Place eggs in saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit 12 minutes.
- Transfer eggs to ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel and halve lengthwise.
- Remove yolks and mash with mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.
- Stir in bacon, tomato, lettuce, and chives. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pipe or spoon filling into egg whites.
- Garnish with additional bacon crumbles and chives.
- Chill 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use eggs that are 7-10 days old for easier peeling
- Can prepare filling 1 day ahead – store separately from whites
- For a spicier version, add dash of hot sauce to yolk mixture
