  • 4 large flour tortillas (1012 inch)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for grilling)
  • Sour cream, salsa, and hot sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook beef: Brown ground beef in skillet over medium-high heat. Drain fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 mins until thickened.
  2. Warm beans: In separate pan, heat refried beans with 2 tbsp water until spreadable.
  3. Assemble: Lay tortillas flat. Spread beans in center, then layer rice, beef, cheese, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado (if using).
  4. Fold: Fold sides inward, then roll tightly from the bottom.
  5. Grill: Heat oil in skillet over medium. Place burritos seam-side down, cook 2-3 mins per side until golden and cheese melts.
  6. Serve: Cut in half diagonally. Serve with sour cream, salsa, and hot sauce.
